Udinese will continue their fight to stay in the Italian top flight for another year when they travel to Lecce, who are almost safe, on Monday.

The absence of goals has been the major headline in the recent games of Lecce. Indeed, Luca Gotti’s side have scored over one goal just once in their last twelve matches. Seven of those encounters ended with under 2.5 goals and I fancy Monday’s game to end similarly.

Udinese have not also managed to score goals in large numbers of late. The visitors didn’t manage more than one goal in their last six Serie A games and given that each of their last two fixtures ended in a 1-1 draw, I expect another draw here.
