How do you think Netherite would do in Bedwars? I think it’s an interesting topic since Netherite gives kr.

The devs would have to code in their own version of netherite tho. The server runs on 1.8.9, and netherite wasn't in the game then yet.

I don't think it would do well, given that it doesn't exist in 1.8.

Would be a higher tier than diamond for sure. Netherite pickaxe and axe would definitely be bought with ems, but the real question is, what would you buy netherite sword and armor with? Every resource is for each tier, and diamonds are for upgrades and traps... so netherite would kinda be in the air.

The biggest con would be having to upgrade to 1.16 at least, since 1.8 PVP would be no longer

they could also just give an item that has the same effect.

I think netherite armor that is identical to iron but has kr and is lost on death could be a cool rotational item

they could make a floating island in the sky above emerald gen in mid that spawns 1 netherite every 2 mins and it has alot of void so it would be risky to go there

kb reduction aside i dont want fights taking longer than 2 min in base bcs someone has p4 netherite with punch bow and golems, heal pool and gaps. netherite would literally ruin the very small amount of balancing bedwars has currently

This guy doesn’t realize how that would work lol. If there was netherite, what would happen to all the players on 1.8? The 1.8 mechanics wouldn’t allow it. Something weird would happen, like the player punches you with your fist and does an absurd amount of damage, and the player would have no armor, or it would have the ‘missing texture’ texture on the armor and sword. It just plain wouldn’t work. It might be interesting for lucky block, but still, like I said, the textures wouldn’t register

make the texture the same as gold armor simple.
