I know this is obvious. But it truly baffles me how someone like Josh can exist. Just the lack of awareness blows my mind. His life truly is the exact same cycle every single day no matter the weather, time or where he is in the world. He truly is perpetually drunk. I don’t know how he does it, and with the autism it is highly unlikely this will ever end until he eventually drinks himself to death. No one is going to help him and he doesn’t understand how big of a problem his alcoholism is. On another note he has inspired me to severely cut back on my own (and I’m sure others too) drinking. What do y’all think is going to happen to him ?

Josh is on the way to becoming the next generation chris chan, unless he gets the help and people he needs rather than those harming him. First alcoholism, next if hes hit and trolled hard enough like chris, josh could turn to delusion and similarly start detaching from reality completely.

Danderson appears very old for his age and i dont see him living to 40, probably josh also if he continues binge drinking. Meanwhile due to good genetics chris chan is still kicking at 42, and will be around for at least 30 more years.
I don’t even think he’s like Chris Chan. Chris had a family that he lived with and people in his life who weren’t just using him for his alcoholism. He only has his TikTok and the booze. I used to laugh but now I just hope he gets help

Chris also had almost 3 decades of failure after failure before even becoming a lolcow, so by the time the internet found him he was already a spectacle of weirdness. His enablers, bad behaviour, delusions, and lack of social awareness were already there before he was even discovered, so his life would’ve been a shitshow regardless. He was beyond saving from the very start.
Josh on the other hand is someone whose biggest current issues are connected to his rise in internet notoriety, and without it he likely would have been able to lead a much healthier, and dare I say somewhat normal, lifestyle. Josh is also not beyond saving, as bleak as things appear now.

I think death by exposure is gonna do him in before the drinking does if he stays on this path. you can only use your tactical n word so many times before someone knocks your block off (see what I did there). he could also fall on the subway tracks or into a body of water. hell, he could choke on his own vomit in his sleep. he's also incredibly gullible and his functionality/critical thinking seems to deteriorate as time goes on which could make him susceptible to someone suckering him in with twisted tea and then killing him. the possibilities are really endless given his current mental state and behavior.
I'm not saying his descent into alcoholism isn't killing him, but he's really young and the human body is incredibly resistant, so I'd give him a good few more years before his body starts shutting down on him.

Considering that we now know he’s aware of Benzo’s, if he starts going down that path he’ll either switch it up or take both and OD (yes I know benzos are used to treat withdrawals. You can’t take both at the same time).
People on this sub have such a hard on for a 20 something’s liver shutting down. That’s not how it works. If you ever got off tik tok and went to a party you would realize Josh’s drinking is relatively tame.
He is far, far more likely to drown in his own vomit on the lirr, get punched into the concrete, or any other SECONDARY RESULT of his drinking than direct liver failure. This is because he has no friends. Otherwise friends will turn you over or pull you away from a fight.
If he continues will he have an early death in his 40s-60s? Yes. But will his whole body shut down as a result? No, he’s young and his body still has time on its side.
So get off your phone, go to a party, and watch someone chug a 5th of fireball to some Mac miller like a real kid.

Idk man. A lot of college kids are weekend warriors, plus a couple weekdays maybe. Josh is an every day every hour type of guy. I’m not saying his liver is shutting down, but I am saying he drinks more than the average frat guy.
Retired frat boy here and I agree totally. We weren’t drunk 24/7 like Josh.
Idk if tame is the right word.. even the frattiest of frat kids still have recovery days, josh is basically only ever sober for at at most a couple of hours a day
I am a retired frat boy myself and I can say that there’d be parties every now and then where people would drink a fifth. Not a single frat brother I had drank every hour of every day.

The liver needs time to heal and recover following binges. Josh binges all day everyday and has done for 2 years now. His liver is well on the way to cirrhosis. Theres a tik toker I follow who is a stop drinking coach (I am an alcoholic). He said he drank a litre or so of bacardi a day and on the weekends he drank 1-3 bottles. In 3 years his liver failed and he had to have an emergency liver transplant. He was lucky there was someone in the same hospital that passed away that week who was an organ donor.
Josh drinks more than this guy did. He only posts some of his drinks. I reckon one in 4 drinks he will post. The posted drinks number 15-25 drinks everyday. He is a roaring alcoholic and nobody is invincible. He will die. Unfortunately.
You’re not really wrong, but you’re also really wrong. He is physically dependent on alcohol. He has to have a certain BAC to survive. Even your worst drinking college kid (that stops after college is over) is not drinking anything like him. Yeah they might have a lot of serious binge drinking, but their bodies aren’t physically dependent. No he’s not going to die from cirrhosis tomorrow. However he also could die from cirrhosis tomorrow. Every human body is different. There is no denying what he is doing is not healthy. He’s got a lot more things that could take his life in the next minutes/hours/days/weeks/months/years, but alcohol alone can still do it too. Either way his BAC will be far above 0.00 when it happens unless he stops.
