Regarding Minecraft for Windows, want to play with my child at the - Microsoft Community

Regarding Minecraft for Windows, want to play with my child at the same time.

Regarding Minecraft for Windows, if I want to play with my child at the same time, I need to buy 2 copies of the games correct? One on my account and one on my child's (7 years old) account, correct?

I tried to google it and there are many replies that saying needs a parent account to tie to child's account and that really confused me, and it said that will let the child be able to play the game. But I want to play with my child together at the same time, just need some directions how to proceed. Thanks.

Hello, RavenKing_836. I'm Arturo, a community user like you, and I'll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today. Yes, that's correct. If you're interested in playing Minecraft with your child at the same time, it's required to have the license on your and your child's account. Once you purchase the game, just make sure that you're using the desired account on the Minecraft launcher on each device. I'll remain attentive to any other inquiry you may have. Regards, Arturo.
