    Ace actress Tabu will be making a comeback to Hollywood, 14 years after ‘Life Of Pi’. The ‘Crew’ star will be appearing in a meaty, recurring role in the ‘Dune: Prophecy’ a prequel to ‘The Max’ series. According to a Variety report, the series is based on a novel named ‘Sisterhood Of Dune’ written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. ⁠

    The official logline reads “Set within the expansive universe of ‘Dune,’ created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, ‘Dune: Prophecy’ follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.”⁠ The versatile actress will step into the shoes of Sister Francesca.

    The role is reportedly “strong, intelligent and alluring.”

    Tabu had been having a great time professionally this year. Her last release ‘Crew’ earned an impressive Rs 155 crore globally. Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon, the movie traces the story of three friends who work for a bankrupt airlines and end up in a gold smuggle trade in a bid to improve their lives.
