She was loved and cherished by many people including : her family Peggy; her parents, Joddie Meredith and Ruby Meredith; her siblings, Joan Johnson, Bobby, Eddie and Floyd Meredith; her grandson Joshua; her husband Joey Smith; her children, Loretta Lynn Woods of Shirley and Montgomery Lanier; her siblings, Joddie D. Meredith and Terry Meredith Long; her grandchildren, Allison, Brittney, Caitlyn, Drake, Elaina, Samuel and Dallas; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Brynlee, Ava, Riverly, Brinley and Stella; and her son-in-law Samuel Woods Sr..

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Roller McNutt Funeral Home Chapel (1902 Hwy 65 S, Clinton, AR 72031).

Due to Peggy's unexpected passing the family has asked in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions are made to help with her final expenses.
