Seeing that Ghostface was so invested evolving his sound from album to album in the 2010s, It's hard to understand why he decided to go back and make a project that it sounds like he made in 2006. Maybe he considers himself semi-retired at this point and isn't as motivated as he once was to push his music forward, but hip-hop has proven before that going back to what once made you great is not always a bad idea.

The skits are garbage, the lyrics never hit hard enough, beats are mid at best, it sounds like he copied Khalid’s ‘Better’ on ‘Touch You’, and I could go on. However, there are two things I want to talk about mainly:

New Ghostface Killah record in 2024, surely this will be great!

This record actually starts pretty okay, however it then proceeds to fall off a cliff the longer the record goes on for. The second half of this record is genuinely laughably bad. I don't understand where the production or lyrical quality went for Ghostface but it is not evident at all on this record.
