Salman Khan requests fans to vote: 'Don’t trouble your Bharat mata'

Actor Salman Khan shared a post on X and encouraged people to step out of their house and exercise their right to vote. The actor’s appeal comes ahead of Maharashtra's Phase 5 voting scheduled for May 20.

Salman informed all that he would be voting on May 20 and expects everyone else to do so for their motherland. His post on X read, “I exercise 365 days a year no matter what, and now I’m going to exercise my right to vote on the 20th of May no matter what. So do whatever you want to do man, but go and vote and don’t trouble your Bharat Mata. Bharat Mata ki Jai (sic).”

Salman Khan is not the first star, several Bollywood celebs like Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, and Sidharth Malhotra among others, have also reached out to people through a video on social media, requesting them to exercise their right to vote.

Karan Johar shared the video on Instagram where the stars urged their fans and followers to participate in the Lok Sabha elections.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan is currently shooting for ‘Sikandar’. The film is directed by AR Murugadoss. Set to release on Eid 2025. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna.
