I disagree. Had they been given another season we may have seen John deal with his trauma and end up in a better place emotionally. The way S2 ended was incredibly sad

In my head canon, John changed his name to Joe Pickett and got a nice ranch in the midwest, where he had a beautiful family
Being content with the series where it is and wanting to see the story’s conclusion are two different things.
It’s great where it sits now.
The two seasons are the beginning of John’s mission: He’s supposed to be stopping Iran from getting nuclear capabilities. He just tamed the jellyfish that were created trying to start his mission. I don’t think he ever even sat is his chair.
