Do you ever watch movies according to your current mood?

Question

Hey guys idk if it's unusual but I've been reading that people are watching movies at 2x speed and just binge-watching them. I'd do that now and then but my current movie-watching process is adding what I find interesting to my watch list then going through it whenever I feel like watching a movie and picking one based on my mood. Does anyone else feel similar or do you just watch whatever and don't care? Also how can I fix this so I can watch multiple random media and remember the story etc? I've seen so much stuff that whenever someone asks my fav movie idk what to say since I feel like I've experienced so many emotions by watching the really good ones
