Chris Hemsworth Joins MCU Co-Stars on the Walk of Fame

It may surprise some fans to know that Downey himself does not yet have a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, but Hemsworth will not be alone with his. In February, Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo was officially inducted. Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson was also previously inducted back in 2012. Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) was inducted in 2015, while Don Cheadle (War Machine), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), and Josh Brolin (Thanos) were all inducted in 2021. Their MCU co-star Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) has had a star on the walkway since his induction in 2000.

Aside from his role in the MCU, Hemsworth has appeared in many other notable films. He's starred in two Extraction movies for Netflix, and he's set to return for a third film that's now in development. Hemsworth has a major role as the voice of Optimus Prime in the upcoming film Transformers One, a fully animated movie that hits theaters on Sept. 20, 2024. The actor is also set to co-star with Sam Rockwell in the upcoming spy movie Project X from director Matthew Vaughn. As far as Thor 5 goes, it's not yet clear if that movie will happen, but Furiosa director George Miller has said he'd be up for helming the film just to be able to work with Hemsworth again.

George Miller Would Be Up for Directing Thor 5

"I would work with Chris on anything. I really would. He's a wonderful actor. He's got the full range of all the skills," Miller recently told ComicBook.com. "I mean, you've got to be athletic, physically. But, you also gotta be athletic emotionally and intellectually to take on these very, ultimately fairly complex, any role really. So, I was very lucky with all my cast and particularly in the way that Anya and Chris matched each other. Particularly towards the end of the month."
