John T. Slaughter OBITUARY

SEABROOK, TEXAS – John T. Slaughter, 63, passed away suddenly in Texas on Thursday, June 5, 2003. He was a native and former resident of Newport News, graduate of Warwick High School and member of the Highty Tighty Band, graduated Class of 62, VPI. He was preceded in death by his father, T.R. (Jack) Slaughter. Survived by wife, Anita; children, John Jr., Angela, Thomas and Amy Slaughter; grandchildren, Bryan, Amanda, Marie and Ali Slaughter; mother, Helen W. Slaughter; and sister, Jane Bates. Laid to rest in Texas on June 9, 2003.
