McDOWELL — The local Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation held its 17th annual Jakes Kid’s Fishing Day Saturday, April 27. The Little Switzerland Strutters hosted more than 65 kids. The event was held on the Armstrong property and the pond was stocked by the chapter with over 300 trout.
