Coroner identifies 29-year-old man killed in Russell neighborhood shooting
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has identified a man just days after he was shot and killed in the Russell neighborhood.The Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the 2500 block of W Chestnut Street around midnight on Sunday about a shooting. When officers arrived, they found 29-year-old Jashawn Crook shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.
