i prefer the original streaming version because of the intro and i think the instrumentals are better
I see, that's nice, I prefer the vinyl one 'cause it's kind of less detailed and Lorde does minimalism really well.

I don’t like the extra drum presence in the second verse, but I do love the way she goes “right, right, right, right” at the end much better.
Also waaay more toxic, because yay for poly-vinyl chlorite. Like, not denying the warmth on vinyl is real (and I've heard good things about that version of the song), but records are kinda just a really bad idea health-wise. They off-gas really nasty volatile organic compounds, to the extent that you really just don't want to be breathing in the same room as an out-of-sleeve record.

i would've understood if you were commenting this under a Taylor Swift subreddit or something, but you're on the Lorde subreddit. she literally ditched the whole CD's for Solar Power era, not caring about Billboard not counting the music boxes. even the merch was from 100% recycled materials. grass needs to be touched....

When I first played my SP vinyl and found out the difference on Mood Ring it felt like a dream. It’s so beautiful… the backing vocals by Phoebe and Clairo are also slightly more audible in this version.
