Did anyone want to be a YouTuber and then didn’t want to be one anymore?
I wanted to once then it died out
It's a huge risk with virtually no reward for 99.9% of people.
The top, top, top people are such a fraction of the total people trying to make it on YouTube.
Probably best to start it as a hobby and see if you get lucky as opposed to jumping all in.
I want to be a youtuber but I don't have time to fully commit to it
My YouTuber dreams evolves into filmmaker dreams. The latter being significantly more ambitious and unaffordable.
i have been trying for four years and still couldn't reach 1K subs let alone 500. Then you look at people who started 6-12 months ago and somehow able to gain more tractions than what you could do.
I think i'm gonna give up now
They always start off with a bang tho, they start their "new" channel with the current trend, and then if that succeeds, they keep going. Those channels are not new. They usually have a lot of past experience.
Everyone that’s tried.
yep i tried for a year and never even got past 1k subscribers, even my videos got barely past 500 views so i just gave up
I would love to be that kind of youtuber that uploads 2 hours of video essays about things they are passionate about months apart from each other. But this is only a fad. Sometimes i want it so much, sometimes i feel like i cant be bothered with it.
Yeah there was someone like that
Yes. In 2010. Looking back I should have. I probably would be making a lot of money but ehh wasn’t meant to be at that time. I do have one now but small as I have a regular job and that takes up most of my time also people are relentless and mean nowadays. Takes the fun out of it.
