What Are Blood Orbs

A Healing Orb that Can Be Picked Up to Heal You and your Minions

Blood Orbs are tiny little orbs that can spawn around the battlefield. These orbs can be picked up to restore your HP and your skeletal minions and golem's HP as well.

Exclusive to the Necromancer

The Blood Orb is an exclusive mechanic for the Necromancer. Only Necromancers can create Blood Orbs and use them to restore their character and minion's hp as well as use them for a plethora of different effects.

Allows you to Use Exclusive Effects on Skills

Aside from providing healing, there are also unique effects that you can trigger by consuming Blood Orbs on the field depending on your skills and equipped aspects.

How to Use Blood Orbs

Use Skills that Generate Blood Orbs

Not all skills can generate Blood Orbs so be sure to choose skills that can create Blood Orbs to spawn them. Blood Orbs usually belong to skills that rely on blood usage but not all blood skills can create the said orbs.

Hemorrhage (Basic)	Active Skill Cooldown: - Generation: 9 Essence Damage Type: Physical Damage
	Effect: Burst an enemy's blood, dealing XX% damage. Hemorrhage has a 20% chance to form a Blood Orb.
Rathma's Vigor (Key Passive)	Passive Skill Cooldown: -
	Effect: After being Healthy for 12 seconds, your next Blood Skill Overpowers. This timer is reduced by 2 seconds each time Blood Orbs Heal or Overheal you for an amount greater than or equal to your base Life.
Transfusion (Corpse and Macabre 2)	Passive Skill Cooldown: -
	Effect: Lucky Hit: Blood Skills have a X% chance on hit to spawn a Blood Orb. This can only occur once every 4 seconds. This chance is doubled against bosses.

Upgrade	Description
Enhanced Hemorrhage	After picking up a Blood Orb, your next Hemorrhage also deals damage to enemies around your target and grants 2 additional Essence per enemy hit.
Supernatural Blood Lance	After casting Blood Lance 8 times, your next cast of Blood Lance is guaranteed to Overpower and spawns a Blood Orb under the first enemy hit.
Blighted Corpse Tendrils	Corpse Tendrils has a 35% chance when damaging enemies to drop a Blood Orb.
Supreme Blood Wave	Blood Wave leaves behind 3 Blood Orbs as it travels.

Skill	Effect
Fastblood Aspect	Blood Orbs reduce your Ultimate Cooldown by (XX) seconds.
Aspect of Potent Blood	Blood Orbs grant 10-25 Essence.
Aspect of the Embalmer	Consuming a Corpse has a (20-30)% chance to spawn a Blood Orb.
Aspect of Gore Quills	Blood Lance will consume Blood Orbs to also conjure lances from them. Each additional Blood Lance deals (20-50)% of normal damage and prioritizes targeting un-lanced enemies.

Blood Artisan's Cuirass (Chest Armor)	Effect: When you pick up (XX) Blood Orbs, a free Bone Spirit is spawned, dealing bonus damage based on your current Life percent. Item Affixes: ・Damage for X Seconds After Picking Up a Blood Orb. ・Blood Orb Healing ・Maximum Life ・Ranks to Bone Spirit
Mutilator Plate (Chest Armor)	Effect: You are Blood Lanced, and when Blood Lance would deal damage to you it instead Fortifies you for 1-2% of your Maximum Life and has a 5% chance to form a Blood Orb. Blood Lance deals x10-20% increased damage. Item Affixes: ・TBA

Consume Blood Orbs by Picking them Up

Blood Orbs will spawn on the ground and approaching them will automatically consume the Blood Orb. A higher movement speed will greatly help in repositioning and getting blood orbs all over the field.

Certain Aspects Allow you to Use Blood Orbs

There are other effects that you can create by utilizing the blood orbs around you either by picking them up or consuming them via a different way. For example, the Aspect of Gore Quills allows you to consume the blood orbs around you by using a Blood Lance to fire additional blood lances from the Blood Orb's location.
