How To Unlock Spell Passive Abilities In V Rising

Before you can gain access to Spell Passives in V Rising, you need to unlock the Altar of Stygian Awakening (requires: 1x Regular Ruby, 12x Iron Ingots, 4x Greater Blood Essence). Once this structure is crafted, you will need to find Stygian Shards, which you can obtain from Rift Incursion events.

There are a total of 18 Passive Abilities in V Rising, each of which is divided into three tiers and belongs to distinct spell schools. To unlock Tier 1 passives, you need 400 normal Stygian Shards. For Tier 2 and Tier 3 passives, you'll need varying amounts of Greater Stygian Shards.

Arcane Animator (Unholy) 15% chance to summon a Skeleton Mage when a Condemned target perishes and minions deal 10% bonus damage. 400 Stygian Shard
Spiritual Infusion (Illusion Deal 10% increased spell damage to Weakened enemies and increase the duration of Weakened by 1s. 400 Stygian Shard
Chill Weave (Frost) Shields applied on you absorb 10% additional damage and you gain 5% increased damage to Chilled and Frozen targets. 400 Stygian Shard
