EastEnders fans 'work out' surprise Lauren Branning twist as Whitney Dean goes into labour

EastEnders viewers are convinced Lauren Branning will have to deliver Whitney Dean's baby in a surprising twist. During Wednesday's trip to Walford (May 15), the Square prepared for Whitney and Zack Hudson's joint stag and hen do in The Queen Vic.

As the 'sten' got underway, Bianca Jackson warned Lauren Branning to tell Whitney the truth about sleeping with Zack, or she would do it herself. But as emotional Lauren, who was dressed as Victoria Beckham's Posh Spice, tried to tell her best mate of her betrayal, she only managed to tell Whitney that she believed Zack wasn't good enough for her.

Lauren's words left pregnant Whit upset as her best pal then muttered that she was sorry before rushing off. Bianca then prepared to tell Whit the truth about Lauren and Zack but had a last-minute change of heart.

Bianca told a relieved Zack that she would be keeping his secret, and he vowed never to make such a mistake again. Meanwhile, Lauren told cousin Penny Branning that she had fallen out with Whitney.

Penny took matters into her own hands to bring the two women back together and locked them inside the taco van Bianca had brought into Albert Square. Whitney was furious and planned to break down the door to escape, but Lauren urged her to think of her baby, before beginning a confession over her night with Zack.

But right at the moment when Lauren was about to drop her bombshell, Whitney's waters broke, leaving her terrified as the pair screamed for help. Now the EastEnders fans think Lauren will have to deliver the baby as they stay trapped in the taco van

Taxing to X (Twitter), one EastEnders fan wrote: "My prediction is Whitney's waters are gonna break in the van and Lauren will have to deliver the baby as she said she wasn't feeling good walking up to the van #EastEnders."

A second stated: "Uh oh, Whitney’s water has broken in the taco van - Baby Dean is on the way. I think Lauren is gonna end up delivering Whitney’s baby. #EastEnders". While a third added: "I think Lauren will end up delivering the baby. #EastEnders."

"Not a good idea Penny hope they do get out of the van or Lauren Is going to be a midwife", predicted one viewer. "Whitney's waters have broken & they are locked in the Taco Van #EastEnders", said another.
