So I downloaded a concord settlement mod on xbox series x and I got it built up and have 14 people in it (4 are robots) all my settlers have jobs and all the other stats are up to needs but the happiness metre keeps going down. Is there anything else I need or is this a bug?

Robots hamper happiness and whenever you build in your settlement, happiness briefly takes a dip. I like to think it’s because of the noise.
What I find helps a lot is weight benches, pommel horses, slot machines, and cats. For the slots you want either Customer Profiling, or Lost Revinue.
Customer Profiling gives +5 happiness and 1 cap per settler, while Lost Revinue gives +15 happiness and no caps. I usually go with Customer Profiling, and build at least 10 of them. If done right, they'll snap together, and make like an actual casino. Gives a nice boost.
You can also add bars. They love bars.
Make sure your defense is also above 80, and that you have extra generators so your power never dips, and run them so even if 1 or 2 get ruined in an attack, it won't cut all power( don't daisy chain them together, run them individually to a conduit)
by daisy chaining do you mean wiring from one generator to the next? if so why not??
Yeah. Let's say you have 5 generators hooked up to each other, and your settlement gets attacked.
Genny 2 gets ruined, so now you're out 4 generators since power flows through them.
Same with water purifiers.
This might be a silly question but I’ve never seen anything in game called Customer Profiling or Lost Revenue. Is it specific perks or something from a mod?
No, when you do the Vault 88 quests, you have 3 choices for each item. A good, an evil, and a neutral option for each, the power cycle, soda fountain, phoropter, and the slot machines.
You have to select which experiment to run, and once you do, it unlocks that item for all settlements with that experiment. For the slot machines, you have Indentured Servitude, Customer Profiling, and Lost Revinue.
Indentured Servitude gives 3 caps 0 happiness, and is the "evil" choice
Customer Profiling gives 1 cap and 5 happiness and is the "neutral" choice
Lost Revinue gives 0 caps and 15 happiness and is the "good" choice
Ahhh! Okay! Never paid attention to the names when doing those. Usually always chose the good or neutral options. Thanks for clarifying. 👍🏻

Time to build a robot covenant settlement with just robots.
If it was established and happy, but now it's going down for no apparent reason, there's a good chance that they have a radiant quest for you. Sometimes they aren't so good about walking up to you and starting the quest. Sometimes it can also be the provisioner that has the quest, and you have to catch them. Sometimes settlers can be found well outside the settlement, too.
You might build and ring the bell. If anyone isn't there, and nobody gives you a quest, you might sleep until they're back and try again.
I remember my friend telling me he placed cats everywhere amd that got the happiness up to a 100%. Maybe give that a try
Iirc, some settlers are synths as well, and they are capped at 50% happy
Another thing Is about TV AND junk box For some reason TV AND junk Boxes reduce hapiness because a glitch or something unfortunelly. I think that junkbox AND TV are More for Player home without Settlers
Yeah robots lower settlement settings. Also you need high tier shops and pets.
