Cardiff prepares to welcome pop songstress

Singer-songwriter Paloma Faith is embarking on 'The Glorification Of Sadness Tour' and is due to play Cardiff at the beginning of July.

This Hackney-born, London-located alt-soul artist/actress with a heartfelt voice draws on diverse influences, including Billie Holiday. Her first album 'Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful?' was released in 2009. Its success owed much to hits such as 'Stone Cold Sober' and 'New York; as well as the powerful title song.

Paloma has four Brit Award nominations to her credit, one in 2011, then two in 2013, only to win the 'Best British Female Solo Artist' Award in 2015 The previous year saw the release of her third album, the platinum-selling 'A Perfect Contradiction'. This was followed up by 2017's 'The Architect' and 2020's 'Infinite Things'.

She now returns with 'The Glorification of Sadness' from which the latest single with an accompanying video ‘How You Leave A Man’ is taken. It is about having the strength to leave a relationship, motivated by the search for happiness and could be said to mark a new era for the singer.

Tickets begin at £42.05 inclusive of a transaction fee. Logo design plays an important role in the branding of a musical artist's stage show or tour.

Paloma Faith's concert has a starting time of 8.00 pm on Thursday 4th July at the Utilita Arena, Cardiff.
