Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Announces Guidelines for Hitch-Free Examination Exercise

 As the Second and Fourth Semester Examinations for the 2022/2023 session approach, the Polytechnic Examination Office has issued guidelines to ensure a smooth and hitch-free conduct of the examinations.

In a circular dated May 9, 2024, the Chief Examination Officer, Danladi Zakari Chituma, emphasized the following guidelines to stakeholders, particularly at the School and Departmental levels:

1. Directors are expected to be present during examinations to ensure compliance with guidelines.

2. Academic Staff must report for invigilation 30 minutes before the commencement of each paper.

3. School Examination Officers should note and report any delayed arrival of question papers.

4. Only Academic Staff should be assigned to invigilate exams; Non-Academic Staff should not be assigned to invigilation duties.

5. Exam Invigilators must search students thoroughly before admitting them into the examination venue, and no communication devices should be allowed.

6. Students are prohibited from bringing bags into or around the exam venue.

7. Students must have a coloured passport photograph stapled to their Examination Cards, which must be stamped and signed by the Departmental Examination Officers.

8. Departmental Examination Officers should monitor and check students' Exam Cards during each paper to verify their identity.

The Chief Examination Officer expressed appreciation and wished all stakeholders a successful and hitch-free examination season.
