Does "Consume all" average each item consumed, or does it go off the first?

I was curious, say, when I eat 250 fire orchids, my partner and I will get WILDLY different results. One of us will almost always get 3000-4000 magic, while the other gets 8000+. Statistically speaking, shouldn't it always be closer than that? It made me wonder if the game is "rolling the dice" on the stack, so to speak, as 1 item rather than 250.

The results can be as much as double.

You basically roll the dice 250 times when you use consume all. 

So it can be between 6250 and 12500 Unbound magic. 

Interesting question. Might try it with some currencies, have plenty. While ofcourse still possible it does seem a big discrepancy so could be one roll.

Like mentioned above, the range is from 6250 to 12500. So, if someone consistently gets 3000-4000 UM, then they are simply not consuming whole stack.

I obviously didn't remember the number quite right. I was just using that as an example, and probably a poor one. But our numbers had never been close to each other when we consumed a large stack of anything, which led me to be suspicious.
