Restricted traffic movement in Bhubaneswar tomorrow for Modi’s roadshow

Bhubaneswar: Traffic movement on Janpath in Odisha capital will be restricted on Friday for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow from BJP headquarters to Vani Vihar Square. Modi will hold roadshow from BJP office to Vani Vihar from 8 pm on May 10.

The Commissionerate Police has issued traffic guidelines, restricting movement of vehicles from Master Canteen towards Vani Vihar from 2 pm onwards and from Vani Vihar to Master Canteen from 4 pm onwards till the end of the roadshow.

This apart, vehicles coming from lane and bylanes on this stretch will not be allowed to take the Janpath.

PM Modi is visiting the state for the second time in less than a week and this is his second roadshow in 5 years. Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, who is seeking re-election from the same constituency, has appealed people to join the roadshow in large numbers.

Addressing a presser, Aparajita said that the party has a clear roadmap for Odisha. “Two days ago, PM Modi said that a BJP CM will take oath in Bhubaneswar on June 10. And I am here to talk about the party’s Sankalp Patra and its plans for the state, which has failed to achieve the desired development indices despite its huge potential, abundant resources and hardworking and simple people,” she said.
