In the 2024 Mumbai South Lok Sabha Constituency, prominent candidates include Rahul Shewale and Arvind Savant, both representing Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray).
In the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, Arvind Ganpat Sawant of the Shiv Sena emerged as the winning candidate from the Mumbai South Lok Sabha constituency, securing 421,937 votes. Deora Milind Murli of the INC received 321,870 votes. Arvind Ganpat Sawant won by a margin of 100,067 votes.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Arvind Sawant of the Shiv Sena emerged as the winning candidate from the Mumbai South Lok Sabha constituency, securing 374,609 votes. Deora Milind Murli of the INC received 246,045 votes. The Mumbai South parliamentary constituency had a total of 1,485,844 registered electors in 2014.
