Queen Camilla Tours the Bridgerton Garden in Peacock Print Dress With Cast and Installation Inspired by Nicola Coughlan’s Penelope Featherington at Chelsea Flower Show 2024

Queen Camilla repurposed another dress by one of her go-to designers for the 2024 Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London on Monday. The British royal family member joined King Charles III for the public outing, which included a tour of the Bridgerton Garden that was also attended by cast members of the Netflix series “Bridgerton.”

For the occasion, the queen consort repurposed a peacock print dress by Fiona Clare, which she previously wore for the opening of the 50th Coronation Library at Moreland Primary School on May 7. The long-sleeve midi dress featured variations of a vibrant blue shade along with blue lining on the edges of the collar and down the center of the bodice.

Queen Camilla wore practical shoes — a pair of Eliot Zed suede wedges ideal for walking the grounds and viewing the various floral displays and arrangements. As for her jewelry, Queen Camilla wore some of her favorite pieces by Kiki McDonough and Van Cleef & Arpels.

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show featured a number of displays, including an installation inspired by the third season of the Netflix series “Bridgerton.” Garden designer Holly Johnston created a display that paid tribute to the season’s main character, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan). Johnston was on hand for the occasion, as were “Bridgerton” cast members Hannah Dodd, who plays Francesca Bridgerton, and Ruth Gemmell, who plays Lady Violet Bridgerton.

Queen Camilla and King Charles III’s engagement at the Chelsea Flower Show comes after the couple hosted the first garden party of 2024 at Buckingham Palace on May 8. For the event, the queen consort fashioned another Fiona Clare look — a long-sleeve midi dress with a pleated skirt in black and white. She also coordinated her look with a Philip Treacy hat.

Queen Camilla often opts for designs by Fiona Clare or Anna Valentine. While the royal is rarely averse to trying new patterns or animal prints, she consistently fashions the same silhouette, one that works well for her approach to royal fashion.
