Gunther vs Jey Uso for the King of the Ring Tournament Semi Finals will take place tonight on WWE RAW

Jey Uso and Gunther are set to face each other in the semi-finals of the 2024 King of the Ring tournament tonight on WWE RAW. Both men have built stellar reputations on the brand, making both friends and enemies. With this in mind, several people could ensure that one of them won't be present for the Saudi Arabia event.

Both Gunther and Jey Uso fought several tough opponents during the King of the Ring Tournament on RAW. Gunther defeated Sheamus and Kofi Kingston to advance, while Jey defeated Finn Balor and Ilja Dragunov. Tonight, both stars will clash to determine who will perform at the titular event in Saudi Arabia, but some stars could ensure one of them won't be able to.

For this list, we will look at seven WWE stars who could interfere during Gunther and Jey's match.

#7. Jimmy Uso could have a couple of ways to make his presence felt

One of the main reasons Jey left The Bloodline in August was because Jimmy Uso betrayed him and chose to side with Roman Reigns. Months later, when the group was taken over by Solo Sikoa, Jimmy was attacked by the group. With all of this happening, Jimmy could play two roles.

If Jimmy returns tonight on RAW, he could either continue his feud with Jey so both men could have one more chance against each other, or he could use it as a chance to mend bridges with Jey and reunite against The Bloodline.

#6. Tama Tonga could send a message to The Bloodline

After Jimmy was kicked out of The Bloodline, Solo added Tama Tonga into the mix. The former NJPW star has since shown dominance in the ring and is also part of the semi-finals of the tournament. He could ensure Jey doesn't stay for long.

Tama could attack Jey not just to showcase that The Bloodline is still on top, but to also assert his own supremacy and show that it's much more dominant compared to the Samoans. It could hint at some tension within the group, suggesting that Solo doesn't completely control him.

#5. Solo Sikoa could secure The Bloodline's spot in the tournament

Although Jey moved to Monday Night RAW, that doesn't mean he will be completely cut off from The Bloodline. With this in mind, Solo could remind him of his past.

Sikoa could cost Jey Uso his match tonight on RAW so that Tonga will succeed in the tournament and won't have to face Jey in Saudi Arabia. In a way, Solo could remind him about The Bloodline's ways and why they are on top.

#4. Ilja Dragunov and Gunther had a meaningful staredown last week on RAW

Jey Uso secured his spot in the semi-finals of the King of the Ring Tournament by defeating Ilja Dragunov. At the end of the match, The Ring General emerged to tease a match against his former rival by having a staredown before dismissing him.

Tonight, Ilja could take offense to Gunther's actions last week and get revenge by costing him his position in the tournament. This way, Dragunov could show that he won't take those taunts lightly and won't forget what his rival did.

#3. Giovanni Vinci could take revenge against his former groupmate

The former trio of Imperium crumbled months ago after Gunther kicked Giovanni Vinci out of the group, landing Vinci on Friday Night SmackDown during the Draft. However, that doesn't mean he can already forget what happened.

Giovanni could attack his former stablemate tonight on RAW to begin their feud. This way, Vinci's character could get a boost and also hook fans due to their history together.

#2. Uncle Howdy could feud with Jey Uso upon his return

Another star who has been making rounds recently is Uncle Howdy due to the several teasers he keeps dropping in various WWE content. Interestingly, one star many fans theorized he could feud with upon returning is Jey Uso.

Recently, Jey began incorporating "fireflies" into his entrances, something Bray Wyatt also did. Uso also claimed it as his, something that Howdy might not appreciate. If Howdy costs Jey Uso the match, not only will it kickstart their feud, but it could also intrigue fans further for King and Queen of the Ring.

#1. Ludwig Kaiser could try to land on Gunther's good side

The Ring General has made several enemies on both RAW and SmackDown, but one person who remains on his good side is fellow Imperium member Ludwig Kaiser. Tonight, the latter could further prove his loyalty.

The Ring General can certainly hold his own in a fight, but so can Jey Uso. However, Gunther can utilize his one clear advantage against his opponent: the numbers game. This way, Jey Uso's position as a top star on the brand won't be hurt by the loss.
