Watch Sierra Hull & Wyatt Flores Join Forces For Majestic Tyler Childers Cover

Sierra Hull and Wyatt Flores recently opened for Turnpike Troubadours at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. The pair of up-and-coming artists teamed up before the show to cover Tyler Childers‘ “Shake The Frost” at the scenic venue.

“Shake The Frost” dates back to the start of Tyler Childers’ career. While Childers never released a studio version of the song, he’s performed “Shake The Frost” live in concert over 100 times and put out the track on his Live On Red Barn Radio I & II compliation.

Wyatt Flores and Sierra Hull gathered around a single microphone set up in the stands at Red Rocks last Friday (May 10) to perform their version of “Shake The Frost.” Flores strums acoustic guitar while Hull hits the note on mandolin. The pair traded vocal parts but sound particularly incredible when they sing in harmony with each other.

Both Wyatt Flores and Sierra Hull called “Shake The Frost” one of their favorite Tyler Childers songs in social posts announcing the resulting video. “Heck of a deal!” Flores exclaimed after the pair completed the tune. “That was pretty dang good.”
