How to save streaky dark paint

Advice Wanted

Forgot to grab a photo before I left it for the week—

I painted a bedroom with 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select eggshell in a dark navy before running out of paint. It’s looking streaky. I learned after the fact that I should have gone matte. So here’s my question:

Should I get a flat/matte for the next gallon and just go over the eggshell? Would I need to prime again first?

Or… should I get the same Regal eggshell paint and do a couple more coats until it’s even? (Will it ever be even?) Is there a specific roller sleeve that might help?

Thanks in advance
