New Towne Meadow Assistant Principal - Katie Blake

Carmel Clay Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Katie Blake as the new Towne Meadow Elementary Assistant Principal, starting in the 2024-2025 school year. With a lifelong dedication to learning and a proven track record as a classroom teacher and Instructional Interventionist Coach, Katie brings a wealth of experience and a passion for student success to her new role.

Katie’s journey in education has been marked by her commitment to fostering a positive learning and working environment for teachers and students. Her expertise in enhancing curriculum and collaborating with stakeholders to improve student learning aligns perfectly with the values and mission of Towne Meadow Elementary.

Before joining Towne Meadow Elementary, Katie served with CCS as an Instructional Interventionist Coach at Forest Dale Elementary. In this role, she worked closely with administrators to ensure the effective usage of student achievement data to drive decisions at both the school and classroom levels. Katie's ability to co-teach, co-plan, and provide non-evaluative feedback to teachers has been instrumental in promoting instructional excellence and improving student outcomes.

Katie's tenure as a teacher, including previous years at Towne Meadow, demonstrates her dedication to education. She implemented grade-level curriculum with a focus on differentiation, utilized formative and summative assessment data to inform instruction, and facilitated various literacy and math interventions to meet the diverse needs of her students.
