Stacey Solomon has thanked her fans for their support as she said she can 'genunely say' that after so many years in the spotlight, some events and jobs just don't get any easier. The Loose Women star looked sensational as she donned her finest dress for a night at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday (May 12).

Stacey, 34, headed to the prestigious ceremony, where she was presenting an award, as the stars of the small screen united at London's Royal Festival Hall to celebrate the best in TV over the past year.

As the prestigious event began, actors and reality stars made their way down the carpet ahead of the award ceremony, posing for the camera under the Southbank's glistening sun. But while Stacey wasn't to be seen on the red carpet, she did have her own mini photoshoot at home.

Ahead of her appearing at the ceremony, which aired on BBC One on Sunday evening, Stacey shared a string of gorgeous images to Instagram in which she could be seen posing in her stunning gown in the garden of her beloved home, Pickle Cottage.

The mum-of-five looked sensational in a strapless black gown that boasted a daring thigh-high split and had been covered in sparkles. She kept accessories to a minimum, opting for a gold necklace and matching bracelet while she kept her blond locks down in soft curls.

"Feeling Beautiful," Stacey started the caption of her Instagram post to her 5.9 million followers. "And nervous & excited & honoured [crying laughing emoji]. Off to the BAFTAs to present an award. So grateful to have been asked to do this! But also my mouth is as dry as the Sahara & my tummy is tingling [crying laughing emoji].

"But it’s the F**k it year, so stepping out of the zone I’ve got myself comfortable in is what 2024 is all about! Happy Sunday everyone! Wish me luck. If I mess it up let’s all pretend I didn’t yeah? [crying laughing emoji]. Your messages have been SO lovely! Best bunch of mates ever! To the moon and back."

And when her big moment came, Stacey was ever the professional, despite a little dig from hosts Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan about her husband Joe Swash. Introducing Stacey onto the stage, where she hosted the award for Factual Entertainment, Rob said: "Next on stage is the host of Sort Your Life Out - which is a bit rich coming from someone who married Joe Swash. It's Stacey Solomon."

Playing off the humour, Rob quickly followed with, "Love you, Joe! " Unfazed by the playful remark, Stacey retorted with a grin: "He's not that bad... He is though," before cracking on and revealing the nominees for the gong and announcing Celebrity Race Across the World as the winner.

Following the event, Stacey took to social media to share how former EastEnders star Danny Dyer helped her out backstage as she waited for her presenting moment. In a video, Stacey could be seen pulling faces as she said: "Live footage of me backstage reading my script and c**pping my pants... Shout out to @officialdannydyer in the mirror here who is the nicest human and instantly makes you feel calm."

She also shared a video of herself on stage and said: "Honestly, I know you might think after 15 years of working in telly this wouldn't phase me anymore but I can genuinely say I get SO nervous every time. Even just being in a room full of people who inspire me and I aspire to I find extremely nerve-wracking. I never know what to say to people [crying laughing emoji]. I am so very awkward!"

Stacey added: "My comfort zone is at home in my pjs, I'm not very showbiz tbh [to be honest]. But I feel super proud that I want and did it! And so grateful to have been asked!"
