Q&A
Preparing for it to look gorgeous without Sandgren getting any further recognition from the Academy.
He just has a knack for doing good jobs on movies that were otherwise moderately or poorly received (yet still have avid fanbases). Except with First Man, that was just the cinematography branch doing what they love and screwing him in favor of a veteran DP who shot a movie nobody saw.
The more and more I hear about this film, the more I'm excited for it
Like, I think this could be it for Sandler, the one that gets him a nom, maybe even a win in Supporting
Not to mention George Clooney being a star of an auteur-driven film for the first time since at least Tomorrowland
Isn't Sandler the Lead??
"Starring Adam Sandler and George Clooney".
Apparently this movie is called Jay Kelly, and Clooney would be Jay Kelly
(Got it from Wikipedia but still that's my best guess)
No, it's still untitled.
I’m beyond excited for his new film, but Netflix moving away from awards films kind of makes me worry about its Oscar chances. I really hope Netflix either still pushes it for awards or sells it to another company who will.
