The new airport is very efficient. Our usual flight is the early JetBlue nonstop from Boston which get into Bermuda around 11am. As mentioned if you’re the only flight in, it’s about 30 minutes or so. Probably the same coming in from JFK.

If you’re staying at a hotel, they can most likely arrange a taxi for you. Otherwise there’s a taxi dispatcher as you exit customs to get you a taxi. All well organized.

We arrived on 5/1 and it took longer to get our luggage, maybe 15 minutes, then it did going trough customs. That being said, make sure you have all your paperwork ready and it goes quickly !

As noted above, The HM--Immigration-Bermuda line 'snakes' pretty efficiently (if such a thing is posible) upon arrival....but it depends on whether there are more than a single aircraft arrival at the time (and of course whether your aircraft is the 1st or 2nd). But, as a general rule, passing through HM-Immigration, then into the main Arrival Hall to colllect any Checked Baggage and passing through the HM-Customs check point (usually little more than a cheery. '...Welcome to Bermuda..' and a nod 'n wave from a Customs inspector) and out to the curb to the waiting queue of taxis maybe anywhere from 30-to-45 mins....in in a waiting taxi and on your way
