The Summer Spirit Festival is bringing back Erykah Badu as the event headliner. After taking a break in 2023, the exciting festival returns to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, on August 10.
Presented by C D Enterprises Inc., the Summer Spirit Festival is celebrating its “sweet” 16th year. This year’s event is spotlighting local talent and flavor, including a go-go tribute and trail-blazing, nationally recognized, home-grown talents.
In addition to Badu, the lineup will feature a blend of Summer Spirit Festival favorites and debut appearances,Method Man & Redman, Junkyard Band, Chuck Brown Band, Mumu Fresh, Noochie, and emcee Jas Funk.
Badu is a familiar face to the Summer Spirit Festival stage. Her last appearance was at the 2022 Summer Spirit Festival, and now she’s back to share more of her Baduizm with attendees.
