1. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke – JioCinema

The plot of the Laxman Utekar directorial follows a young couple living in a joint family, who come up with a plan to use an Indian Government scheme to buy a new house. But when their plan goes off the track, it sparks a series of unexpected dramas that snowball into a comedy of errors. 

2. Madame Web – Netflix

Headlined by Dakota Johnson, this superhero movie inspired by Marvel movies is a must-watch for all MCU fanatics out there. The film follows a paramedic living in Manhattan, Cassandra Webb, who gains the power to see the future. As the plot progresses, she sets out on a mission to protect three young women from an evil entity, Ezekiel Sims, who attempts to kill them before they develop their superpowers.

3. The Garfield Movie – Theatres

Garfield’s unexpected reunion with his long-lost father, Vic, a scruffy street cat, lands him in the middle of a high-stakes heist. 14. Bastar: The Naxal Story – ZEE5

Directed by Sudipto Sen, Bastar: The Naxal Story is a hard-hitting drama that is based on the Naxalite–Maoist insurgency in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. The ensemble cast of the film includes Adah Sharma, Indira Tiwari, Shilpa Shukla, and Raima Sen. 

15. Back to Black – Theatres

This Sam Taylor-Johnson directorial is a biographical film based on the life of singer Amy Winehouse. The makers have roped in actress Marisa Abela to play the title role in the biopic which sheds light on how Winehouse’s tumultuous relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil inspired her to come out with her most popular album Back to Black.

16. Monster – Netflix

IF is a live-action/animated fantasy comedy film written and directed by John Krasinski. It revolves around a young girl who embarks on a journey to reconnect imaginary friends with their kids after learning about her magical powers. 

23. Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1 – Netflix

Set during the Regency Era in England, Netflix’s popular drama Bridgerton is an adaptation of Julia Quinn’s book series of the same name. The third season which dropped this week focuses on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) who confronts his true feeling for Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan). A must-watch title on the list of new OTT releases this weekend.
