The game with a cat theme that combines aspects of Titanfall and Overwatch, called Nyan Heroes, has announced that it will launch its NYAN token on the Solana blockchain next week. With over 200,000 downloads and a ranking in the top 30 games on the Epic Games Store, the game has become more popular since its pre-alpha release in March.
The formal launch of the NYAN token on the controlled exchange Bybit is set for Tuesday, May 21. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for that day. More information about the much awaited NYAN airdrop, which will give tokens to players who took part in the game’s play-to-airdrop campaigns, will also be revealed to players. Players will get allocations of NYAN when the token is released by earning MEOW and CATNIP points via games and social media engagements.
9 Lives Interactive, the Singapore-based game studio behind Nyan Heroes, received a substantial $3 million in funding to support the game’s launch. Despite its immense success during the pre-alpha phase, boasting over 100,000 players within the first week and a half, the game currently lacks NFT integration. The developers prioritize gameplay over crypto involvement, allowing players to enjoy the game without the need for cryptocurrency or digital wallets. Even with the NYAN token launch, this approach remains unchanged.
