Cape Henlopen names Teacher of the Year

By LEWES — Dr. Krissy Patton, a reading intervention teacher at Milton Elementary School, was named Cape Henlopen School District’s Teacher of the Year at Lewes Elementary School on Tuesday.
Dr. Patton moves on to the state level. The Delaware Department of Education will announce that winner in the fall.
Last year’s Cape Teacher of the Year was Rachel Peacock, a chemistry teacher at Cape Henlopen High.
