Naida Cuesta Arroyo 85, of Vernon, Florida went home to be with the Lord on May 10,2024 at Wesley Place on Honeysuckle in Dothan, Alabama.
Naida was born on October 18, 1938, in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico to Alfredo Cuesta and Lilliann Arroyo. Naida taught in the education system for 25 years, served in the Catholic Church and loved gardening. She will be remembered for being the most amazing, loving and caring Mom.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Alfredo Cuesta and Lilliann Arroyo.
She is survived by her daughters: Ivonne F. Diaz (Gregory S.) of Vernon, FL, Nayda I. Fernandez of Chipley, Florida; brother: Norton Cuesta of Puerto Rico; grandchildren: Dayanava Trujana (Artura), Noel Troche (Tuayna), Recardo Lopez (Amy); grandchildren: Alexis, Samantha, Arturo, Adrian, Riky Jr. Tristan.
A celebration of life will be held 11 AM Friday May 17, 2024, at Obert Funeral Home Chapel (731 Kirkland Road) in Chipley, Florida with Bro. Mike Orr officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
