Chi è NEMO l’artista non binario che ha vinto l’Eurovision 2024
NEMO ha trionfato alla 68° edizione dell’Eurovision Song Contest, tenutasi quest’anno a Malmö in Svezia. L’artista, che rappresentava la Svizzera, ha vinto la competizione con il suo brano strabiliante “The Code”, offrendo una performance mozzafiato.
L’ultima volta che aveva vinto la Svizzera era stato nel 1988 con Céline Dion e la sua canzone “Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi”.
CHI E’ NEMO
Con “The Code” l’eccezionale artista, che si definisce non binario, ha scritto un’affascinante e personalissima opera d’arte musicale che unisce rap, drum ‘n’ bass e opera.
“The Code” ricorda in qualche modo il capolavoro dei Queen “Bohemian Rhapsody”. A livello testuale, è un racconto di un’età che celebra l’amore per se stessi e incoraggia le persone ad abbracciare il proprio percorso.
Nemo ha anche ritenuto importante difendere l’intera comunità LGBTQIA+ con la sua performance in quanto persona genderqueer.
IL BRANO
“The Code parla del viaggio che ho iniziato con la consapevolezza di non essere né un uomo né una donna. Trovare me stesso è stato un processo lungo e spesso difficile per me”- dice Nemo. “Ma niente mi fa sentire meglio della libertà che ho ottenuto realizzando che sono una persona non-binaria”.
Il DJ di fama mondiale Felix Jaehn ha creato anche un remix del brano, che farà furore sui dancefloor di tutto il mondo.
