Yeah it's definitely different from the normal direction they go
Trex looks at him like him and the kid are going to be friends and the story is about their developing friendship as the kid teaches him about humans

I'm not sure if they're gonna set the story anywhere near pine trees tho.
I think it’s a good start. You just have to make the lighting and shading for the Rex and the kid match the environment.
