Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Throwback Pics of Lookalike Daughter Apple on Her 20th Birthday

Gwyneth Paltrow took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter, Apple Martin's, 20th birthday in a heartfelt post accompanied by throwback photos capturing precious moments of their bond over the years.

The 51-year-old actress shared three endearing snapshots. The first was a nostalgic embrace between mother and baby daughter, capturing a tender moment from Apple's infancy. The second photo depicted a younger Apple donning a hat and a striped shirt. The final image showcased Apple as a young adult, reflecting her growth and transformation over the years.

Accompanying the pictures was a touching caption penned by Paltrow, expressing her astonishment at how quickly time had flown by. She praised Apple, describing her as "the most extraordinary, the most hilarious, the most brilliant."

Paltrow also admired Apple's unique blend of wit and physical comedy, highlighting the joy she brings to those around her. "I love your WWII insights as much as I love your physical comedy," the proud mom wrote.

Paltrow's message emphasized their close mother-daughter bond that has endured from Apple's earliest days to the present. The post concluded with a heartfelt wish for Apple to have the best birthday, signed off with affectionate words from "mama."

Apple is the eldest child of Paltrow and her ex-husband, Chris Martin, the 47-year-old frontman of Coldplay. The couple, who married in 2003, also share an 18-year-old son, Moses. Despite their separation in 2016, Paltrow and Martin have remained committed to co-parenting their children and celebrating significant milestones together as a family.

Reflecting on their separation in an interview with British Vogue, Paltrow shared, "We just didn't quite fit together. But man, did we love our children."

The Iron Man star candidly described the efforts she and Martin made to salvage their relationship before eventually accepting the truth. "Between the day that I knew and the day we finally relented to the truth, we tried everything," she revealed, emphasizing their dedication to maintaining their family unit.

In 2018, Paltrow found love again with screenwriter Brad Falchuk, whom she married after meeting on the set of Glee. Speaking to Bustle about her newfound sense of liberation post-divorce, she expressed gratitude for her husband, describing him as her "best friend."

As for Martin, he is engaged to actress Dakota Johnson.
