NEW DELHI: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal launches 'Kejriwal ki Guarantee' on day 2 of his campaign after getting bail on Friday. Kejriwal listed 10 pledges during his campaigning including education, healthcare, infrastructure, and social welfare.
Kejriwal promised "24-hour electricity" and "200 units of free electricity to poor" households. He also pledged to improve the quality of education in government schools, asserting that they will "give better education than private schools."
The Chief Minister further guaranteed the establishment of "Mohalla clinics in every village, locality" to ensure accessible healthcare for all.
He also vowed to free the "land occupied by China," highlighting his party's commitment to national security.
Kejriwal took a strong stance against the Agniveer scheme, promising to discontinue it if elected to power. He also assured farmers that they would be provided with MSP as per the Swaminathan Commission report, addressing a long-standing demand of the agricultural community.
The Chief Minister reiterated his party's demand for full statehood to Delhi, a contentious issue that has been at the forefront of Delhi politics for years. He also promised that an INDIA bloc government would generate 2 crore new jobs annually, tackling the issue of unemployment.
Kejriwal emphasized his party's commitment to ending corruption and breaking what he termed as the BJP's "washing machine," a reference to alleged corruption within the ruling party. Lastly, he promised to simplify the Goods and Services Tax (GST), addressing concerns raised by businesses and consumers alike.
