Helldivers 2, the co-op shooter title from Arrowhead Game Studios, has been a smash hit and possibly the biggest game release of the year so far. The game has received a lot of praise from fans and critics alike and is still going strong, with a large number of players fighting for Super Earth.
Players have been busy completing major orders to eradicate Automatons and Terminids from the galaxy, but many have done so and seen almost everything there is in the game. But that doesn’t mean they cannot enjoy the game anymore, and one player has figured out the trick to do that.
Helldivers 2 Fan Shares the Trick to Keep Enjoying the Game
Helldivers 2 has been out for over three months now, and the game director, Johan Pilestedt, recently shared that it has sold over 12 million copies so far. This means that a lot of players have been playing the game, and a large number of them would have already done everything.
They may feel bored, but one player has figured out how they can keep playing it. One player replied to another user on the r/Helldivers subreddit who was complaining about hitting the resource cap and not knowing what to do next, letting them know the secret to enjoying the game.
The user Spigele said that once players hit the cap, they can “just play” and are free to do whatever they wish, adding that they use this opportunity to help other players. Other players also said that the “endgame” for a Hell Commander is to help other players get super samples.

Spigele added players can also help new players figure out “impossibly balanced missions.” One user said since they maxed out, they have been joining the SOS Helldive games and helping new players figure things out and how to go about completing missions and collecting samples.
Players Do Not Like Resource Caps in Helldivers 2
Fans who have the utmost dedication to the Galactic War in Helldivers 2 have been hitting resource caps and are not happy about it. The game has limits set for several things, such as medals, requisitions, and samples.
The cap for medals is 250; the cap for requisitions is 50k; 500 for green samples; 250 for orange samples; 100 for purple samples; and Lvl 150. Players have been complaining about this and how they do not like it, as they don’t know what to do next, as the OP is complaining about it.

Fans have said that the game would be much better if there were no resource caps, and one user called it “bullshit.” However, some have also said that players should play the game for enjoyment and not for resource farming. Players have added that players maxing out have to help out others.

Resources don’t really matter in the game if players focus on getting a good gaming experience and enjoy a good session with their friends. Take breaks and enjoy the fight for democracy; that’s what even game director Johan Pilestedt has said to Helldivers.
