Millmont man facing corruption of minors charge

May 17—MIFFLINBURG — A Millmont man allegedly watched pornography with a pre-teen girl, showed her sex toys and asked her if she wanted to have sex, according to state police in Milton.

Douglas James Wallace, 65, of State Route 235, Millmont, was charged with a misdemeanor count of corruption of minors. The charge was filed by state Trooper Brian Watkins, of the Milton State Police Barracks, in the Mifflinburg office of District Judge Jeffrey Mensch.

The victim, now an adult, reported to police that she was in the care of Wallace when she was 12 at his home in Hartley Township, police said. The time frame was not divulged in the police report.

The victim allegedly found Wallace watching pornography on the television and he showed her sex toys, police said.

Wallace allegedly offered "to show her how sex worked but noted she had to be relaxed," according to court documents. "(The victim) denied that the defendant physically touched her during the incident."

Wallace in a police interview allegedly said the girl was "pestering" him to watch pornography, so they did for several minutes, and they conversed about sex toys. Wallace allegedly denied propositioning the girl or even touching her, police said.

Wallace is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 11:30 a.m. May 28 in front of Mensch.
