Martha, the real-life subject of Baby Reindeer, has demanded £1 million for an interview with Piers Morgan after being offered just £250. Fiona Harvey, 58, expressed her outrage following her appearance on Morgan's YouTube show Uncensored, which she claims has already netted the host a substantial sum.

The explosive interview, broadcast last Thursday, has attracted over 10 million views and continues to generate revenue for Morgan's channel. However, Harvey, hailing from Fyvie, Aberdeenshire, insists she deserves a more significant share of the earnings and is prepared to "settle for" a seven-figure amount.

In an exclusive conversation with the Daily Record, Harvey revealed: "They offered me £250 and I asked if that was what they paid everyone and, if so, I wanted to see documentation to that effect."

She continued, frustrated by the lack of transparency: "That documentation has not been forthcoming. I have not signed a contract for the interview and I will be seeking far more than a piddling £250."

Harvey didn't mince words about her expectations: "I'd settle for a million.", reports the Daily Record.

Reflecting on Morgan's demeanour, she commented: "I read a snippet online that Piers felt very sorry for me but he feels sorry for no one."

Harvey described her experience with Morgan and his team: "His staff were being so nice and saying everything was OK but when I went in to meet him he could barely look at me." She accused Morgan of insincerity: "It was all a big act."

Harvey also noted a lack of courtesy from the host: "He didn't even say goodbye and only got the photograph taken with me because he needed it for the publicity."

Finally, she shared her concern for Morgan's health: "I also think he's ill. He was very pale, white as a sheet under those TV cameras and he looked very drawn."

"He's lost a lot of weight. Is he ill? You do wonder."

Harvey also intends to take legal action against Netflix over Baby Reindeer. The show created by Richard Gadd, a Scottish comedian, is a seven-part TV series marketed by the streaming service as a true story.

Baby Reindeer takes inspiration from the real-life experiences of Scots comedian Gadd, who is also its creator and star artist.

The series maps a perturbing sequence of events that began after the protagonist, working as a bartender at London's Hawley Arms pub, offered a customer a free cup of tea.

A woman in the mini-series named Martha Scott becomes infatuated with him, camping outside his home, attacking his transgender girlfriend, and bombarding him with emails.

The antagonist of Gadd's show, a stalker called Martha, is portrayed as previously imprisoned for a past offence and subsequently for stalking Gadd. The show has topped the ranking in 30 countries on the streaming platform.

However, serious scrutiny has followed as internet sleuths were rapidly able to identify Harvey as the genuine person behind Martha's character.

Gadd has made appeals cautioning viewers not to attempt identifying the real-life individuals from Baby Reindeer, which is an adaptation from his Edinburgh Fringe show.

After being identified online, Harvey quickly addressed the Daily Record to dispute several assertions made about Martha in the show - including her alleged onslaught of thousands of emails on Gadd and her imprisonment.

Harvey, the real-life model for the character, contradicts any claims of her having a criminal conviction or serving time in jail.

In the controversial series, "Martha" finds herself behind bars before her encounter with Gadd's character Donny and ends up incarcerated once more for stalking him. This development has led Harvey to consider legal action against Netflix and Gadd.

Harvey has issued a stark warning: "If I can't get that show to shut down easily, if they don't give me the money and I'm talking £1million politicians will shut the show down. If the behaviour of Netflix has been discussed in Parliament as it has been discussed all over the country then the show will be shut down as simple as that."

He further insisted on his demands: "I want at least £1million and they know it."

Despite the controversy, "Baby Reindeer" has garnered critical acclaim for Gadd, particularly for the way he depicted stalking and sexual abuse.

However, just last week, Netflix faced scrutiny from MPs regarding the show's responsibility towards real-life counterparts of its characters.

During a parliamentary session, Netflix's policy chief Benjamin King responded to committee chair, SNP MP John Nicolson, saying: "Baby Reindeer is an extraordinary story and it is obviously a true story of the horrific abuse that the writer and protagonist Richard Gadd suffered at the hands of a convicted stalker."

A source close to Piers Morgan shared: "We agreed a standard appearance fee with Fiona and paid for her hair and make-up and car."

The Daily Record has reached out to Netflix, Richard Gadd's legal representatives, and Piers Morgan's production company for their comments.
