Reporting a bug with the quest “A new set of horns”: I cannot complete this quest because the Rostrum of Transformation now requires lvl 70 in order to be used and I’m currently 62.
I abandoned the quest and took it again but the issue is still present.

Same issue here (Level 61), seems everyone is having the same problem, but was working ealier today (apparently). Annoying thing is can’t progress the campaign right?

Issue makes the game not alt friendly, it’s just cosmetics for pete sakes. We need a blue response for this…

Same here cannot advance in campaign without doing this quest? makes no sense
As someone who has completed the campaign previously, this wasn’t always the case, and is such a dumb change for something purely cosmetic. Seeing new players get stuck on the first few quests because of this, and not seeing ANY bluepost interaction on these issues is really disheartening. This could be an accident, but how is something like this messed up when its so specific?

I’m having the same issue. I have several other level 70 characters and I can’t complete this on another lower level alt. I submitted a ticket.
It’s not just that. Sub 70 characters can’t use the portal to val in their main city hub, or look at their renown progress and dragon riding skill trees.

hadn’t played for 2 years… thought id jump in dragon flight at the last moment.
Why wasn’t this fixed immediately, this is a game breaking bug. Who decided to make opening a ticket so difficult? This should be a bigger issue.

Having same issue here. I think this just started after the last patch. Also having issue getting to Broken Islands Dalaran after it.
Same issue, my 11th time through this and now it doesn’t work since 10.2.7 launched.

I was able to complete quest by visiting barber in Valdrakken. Used the mirror and got quest credit.

Confirming that you can use any barber to trigger quest completion. Just in case you don’t want to hoof it to Valdrakken or spoil it before you’re intended to get there, you can go back to Stormwind/Org/Wherever and use a barber there to the same effect. It’s just the act of going into the Customization menu that triggers the flag.

Just hit this bug for the first time, I have many alts and have never had this issue until now. Kinda insane how they never thought that putting a lvl requirement would break this… Extremely obvious it would when there’s a leveling request involved with it. I’m an SE and it blows my mind how little things like this are an oversight at such an “Elite” game dev company.

Thanks for this comment! I hearthed to Dalaran for the barber and it completed the “A new set of horns” quest.
