TRENTON YANITY

Trenton Patrick Yanity passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 6, 2024. He was born August 31, 1983, in San Marcos.

Trent spent his early years living onsite at the Pleasanton Country Club where he learned to love the outdoors. He graduated from Pleasanton High School in 2002 and worked for several years in the oilfield industry as a safety expert. Most recently, he spent the last few years working at Riverbend Golf Club in Floresville. Trent enjoyed hunting, exploring new restaurants and wines, camping, kayaking and all things in nature, including off-roading in his Toyota 4Runner “project car.”

Trent will be remembered most for his helpful spirit, his deep connections with those he loved and who loved him and especially for his ability to make people laugh with his witty sense of humor.

Trent was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bernard Yanity.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Turman Troyer (Ron); father, Mike Yanity (Fran); and siblings, Keenan Yanity (Meagan), Toni Yanity Harwig (Michael), Leighton Yanity, London Yanity, Alexandra Prouse (Mick) and Jereme Troyer (Stephanie); his grandparents, Gene and Betty Turman and Johanna Yanity, along with seven nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private gathering for family and friends will be held on June 1.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in memory of Trent or to any mental health awareness organization in honor of May being National Mental Health Awareness Month.
