Teresa Giudice Denies Husband Louie Is Her ‘Weak Link' Amid “RHONJ” Drama

"They're trying to hurt the closest person to me, which is my husband," Giudice said in a new interview

Teresa Giudice is standing up for her man!

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 51, said that the castmates with whom she's at odds (including her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and Margaret Josephs) don't have damaging information about her, so they're coming after the next best target — her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas.

"They have nothing on me, so they're trying to hurt the closest person to me, which is my husband, and they think that's my weak link, you know?" she told the outlet.

Giudice made her feelings clear: "He's not my weak link. He's my rock."

The cookbook author was referring to accusations that her castmates — and their husbands — have made about Ruelas, 49. Specifically, they claim that Ruelas hired investigators to look into their pasts.

Rumors about newest castmate Rachel Fuda's husband John Fuda's allegedly shady past were the subject of the series' season 14 premiere, which aired on Sunday, May 5. "I don't do that," Giudice told Entertainment Tonight. "Everyone who knows me, I am so real. Like, what you see is what you get, and I don't go digging up people's pasts."

Giudice said that Josephs, 57, and the other people making claims about Ruelas are doing so because they are "scared."

"So now, they're trying to put these other false narratives out there to try to make me look bad because a lot of other things are gonna come to light — but I'm bringing facts to light," Giudice said.

Giudice and her friend and castmate Jennifer Aydin are also currently at the center of a social media scandal after a user called MelissasOldNose claimed that the pair asked her and other accounts to dig up dirt and expose Gorga and their castmates.

Giudice claimed that those accusations are lies, but that her and Ruelas' names will be cleared by the end of the season.
