recently i met a lot of people who constantly using right stick to select one player, move him for a while and select another, move him for a while again, and repeat and repeat, almost use up the count down until actually do the corner kick or throw in. it doesn't look like some kind of new glitch or exploit, or serve any tactical purpose, because i met a lot of these people and they do it again and again but i haven't concede one goal because of this yet. but it is very annoying, u know, some times there are several corner kicks in a row and they do it every time. why r they doing this? this is new, i seldom see it before, it starts just a few days ago. players in this game become more and more toxic day by day.

Haha mate, they simply trying to move your defenders on the pitch to get one player free for corner exploit 🤣 this is a very popular approach in div1.
I encountered some of these players as well in division 3 and above. I have a theory about it.
For quite some time, selecting a player and positioning him near the near post to cross on him and then deflect the ball on another player to score was quite the meta on corner kick but I believe this was nerfed since.
My interpretation of such behavior is that:
They're not aware of the change and still try to replicate it but whenever they see you selecting a player to mark their player, they switch to another hoping you won't be able to catch up in time
They have no idea what to do
Personally I like to think it's a mix of both lol
The throw ins are horrible in this game. I often find myself trying to find a solution until the timer starts.
Maybe they are just having a breather.
At times the game can be so fast and frantic, it's nice to have a time out without using your pause time.
In a throw in is done because if you don't move player along or you are not awake it becomes a goal---->there is no offside
in corner kicks, it's just annoying opponent

I just quit after the second or third switch or right up until the counter ends whether winning, losing or drawing, ain’t got time for that shit
I too quit as soon as my opponent starts being a toxic prick. I haven't finished a single match all week.
