WHAT'S OPEN AND CLOSED IN TORONTO ON VICTORIA DAY

There is plenty to do in the city of Toronto on Victoria Day to mark the statutory holiday, but some businesses and services will be closed on Monday.

Here’s what you need to know:

Government services
Government offices and services will be closed on Victoria Day.

Banks
All banks will be closed on Monday.

Toronto Public library branches will be closed on Sunday and on Victoria Day.

Transit
The TTC will be running on a holiday schedule.

GO Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule on Victoria Day.

Grocery stores
Most big-box grocery stores and major grocers will be closed on Victoria Day.

Some retailers will remain open including some Shoppers Drug Marts and T & T Supermarkets, best to check before you go.

Rabba Fine Foods locations will be open on Monday.

LCBO and The Beer Store
LCBO and most The Beer Store locations will be closed on Monday, but 73 select Beer Store Retail locations across the province will remain open to serve customers from 11am – 6pm. You can learn more at https://www.thebeerstore.ca/

Postal services
Canada Post will be closed on Victoria Day with no collection or delivery of mail.

UPS locations will be closed, with no mail collection or delivery.

Malls
Malls that will be closed on Victoria Day include:

Yorkdale Shopping Centre
Dufferin Mall
Sherway Gardens
Fairview Mall
The Shops at Don Mills
Scarborough Town Centre
Dixie Outlet Mall

Square One Shopping Centre will be open on Monday operating on a holiday schedule, open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Eaton Centre will operate its holiday hours, open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Vaughan Mills will be open on holiday hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

What to do on Victoria Day
The city is holding a fireworks display at Ashbridges Bay Park on Victoria Day starting at 10 p.m. If you are planning on going, you’re encouraged to use public transit to get there.

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada will be operating on regular hours on Victoria Day.

The Toronto Zoo will be open on Victoria Day.

The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) will be open on Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is open on statutory holidays.

The Hockey Hall of Fame will remain open on the holiday.

The CN Tower will be open.

Casa Loma will remain open on Monday.

Most Cineplex movie theatres will stay open on Monday.

Most splash and spray pads are open for the season.

Riverdale Farm will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The High Park Zoo will be open on Monday.

The Ontario Science Centre will be open all weekend long including on Victoria Day, operating on a holiday schedule from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Aga Khan Museum will be open on Monday.
